When the gates of Ishgard opened in June 2015, Heavensward lifted us above the storms and taught us to ride the wind. Flying mounts, soaring spires, and the Dragonsong War were the world’s headline—but for Sweet n Sour Chocobo, it was an ascension of purpose.
Lavender Herbster—our Paladin–White Mage heartbeat—kept camp between snow and stained glass, where frost met faith and friendship melted the cold of Coerthas. The FC’s mission crystallized in one vow:

Heavensward was our mentorship era. We turned “open invite” into policy: if your namebar had no FC tag—whether you were level 10, 50, or lost in Idyllshire—you got a whisper and a seat by the fire. We brushed the 512-member cap again and again, then learned to rotate trials gently so the inn always felt small.
Every player was a story. Every invite, a kindness.
💎 The Mentorship Miracle
Patch 3.2 introduced the Mentor System and Hall of the Novice, and we were already acting like crowns before crowns existed. Lavender formalized The Vault Initiative: pairing sprouts with calm veterans for the level-57 dungeon whose ending rattles even the bravest hearts. We stood beside players who froze during the cutscene, typed comfort into Party chat, and taught new healers to breathe after a wipe.

By 3.3 – Revenge of the Horde, we’d guided hundreds through the last verses of the Dragonsong War. Our sky motto stuck: Fly Sweetly, Land Kindly.
